We had rangoli competition in college..

Our theme was the age old fight between india and pakistan...with a backdrop of kashmir...

A girl is looking through the window to see peace and harmony...(We depicted it with 'nature' ;D)

"Why this Kolaveri?" was the caption...

We won third prize...

Missing my hometown...

"When I was a little child, I used to believe that while I stood on the terrace, I could receive flying kisses from my loved ones...

I thought sky was a highway then...But I was sure I got the right kiss from a large number of them floating across... 

I'd forgotten this...But yesterday I was on the terrace...at night...and I felt a kiss land hard on my forehead...It was gentle and I felt as if someone was bidding me a gudbye...But I couldn't guess who... I didn't sleep well yesterday...Am I losing someone?...very dear to me?..."

This is an excerpt from my diary entry...musings I shared with a friend...

He said me that it was Abu Dhabi bidding me farewell...

Maybe it was...

I miss my hometown...
